  11. GPCI_100 will install itself in a directory which it will create on your C:
  12. drive. The directory will be named GYPSY. If you wish to use a different drive
  13. and\or directory, use any text editor and correct the START.BAT and FINISH.BAT
  14. files to reflect your choice(s). The application is intuitive in large part-but
  15. feel free to use "escape" in places that pose questions.F10 is used to continue
  16. an in-process action. Use ENTER when instructed; other keys work in the usual
  17. fashion, with instructions given liberally at the baseline  of the monitor.
  18. Should you experience difficulty enabling the program, especially if you make
  19. path changes; @ C:\GYPSY\ , type A4MOVAPP and type-in  correct path and enter.

  29. This Application is FREEWARE, and may be used and or passed on to others. It is
  30. a representative "Directory" of GPCI Indicators from The Federal Register. The
  31. Indicators are Geographical values which are used by the health industry to
  32. modify factors which are used to determine the ultimate amount of the charges
  33. for medical procedures performed in our country. The medical procedure charges
  34. consist of three elements; WORK (Professional's skill), PRACTICE (Cost to run
  35. the office and pay the staff), and MALPRACTICE (Fraction of procedure charge
  36. that is due to malpractice insurance rates). The GPCI Indicators have the same
  37. three parts and based on the region, adjust the procedure charge accordingly.
  38. GPCI_100 is a portion of a major program that PC Management of Sarasota, FL is
  39. developping to meet the needs of all those in the HealthCare Industry in their
  40. analyses of costs, efficiencies, and billing\practice analysis. We believe that
  41. our program is timely and will be of great social value in conjunction with the
  42. current HealthCare Industry evolutionary atmosphere.

  46. This application has been tested on XT, AT, 286's and 386's. It's pretty
  47. straight forward, and is meant to give the interested public a "look-see" at
  48. part of at a Major New Program presently in process. It was put together with
  49. ALPHA Software's Alpha Four Runtime Database Programming. Enjoy your use of it
  50. and dont throw it away... you have a very powerful engine in your hands which 
  51. can receive and use other Alpha Runtime Applications which will be out soon!
